Hello!

My name is

Dr. Sandra Kaspryzk.

To survive means to live or exist.

To thrive implies succeeding, growing and becoming one’s best.

So many things can stand in the way of thriving in life…difficult life circumstances, adjusting to a relationship break up or family issue, working one’s way through grief and loss, coping with challenges in the workplace, becoming overwhelmed by life events or stressors, understanding one’s inner struggles or conflicts or coming to terms with past traumas and childhood experiences which continue to impact one’s life as an adult.

What stands in the way for children may be difficulty in making friends, adjusting to new environments or circumstances, feeling left out or not fitting in, learning challenges or academic struggles, coping with changes in family dynamics, experiences of fear and anxiety and/or difficulty expressing or understanding their emotions.

The space between surviving and thriving for both children and adults can be filled with feelings of sadness, confusion or any number of uncomfortable feelings. Therapy can provide the opportunity to work through these feelings, strengthen coping skills, grow in self understanding and self awareness, address difficult challenges and circumstances, enhance one’s sense of
well being and grow and thrive in one’s life.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist experienced in treating children, adolescents, and adults with emotional and psychological issues as well as children with developmental and learning challenges including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Disorders and Reading and Learning Disorders.

I look forward to working with you and can provide additional references upon request.
